A poor high occurs when the highest price of the trading session is not supported by strong selling activity. It indicates that the market has not found sufficient sellers at the high, suggesting that the upward auction process is incomplete. This could mean that prices may revisit this level or move higher in future sessions.

A poor low is the opposite of a poor high. It occurs when the lowest price of the trading session is not supported by strong buying activity. It indicates that the market has not found sufficient buyers at the low, suggesting that the downward auction process is incomplete. This could mean that prices may revisit this level or move lower in future sessions.
